A brief video about our parish Human services program
Human Services includes a variety of ministries designed to support our parishioners and serve the needs of those in the West Hempstead community. Assistance is available to those in need in our community through our food pantry, (click here to see items offered) and guidance on resources and assistance in the areas of social service programs, housing, legal and senior care. Additionally, our St. Vincent DePaul Ministry is available to provide furniture, clothing, and financial assistance.
Ministry members are parishioners and neighbors - those who want to give back by sharing their gifts and God’s love.
If you, or someone you know, is in need of assistance, please call Human Services. Before describing all of the ministries that come under the umbrella of “Human Services,” let us provide some basic information about our office:

Volunteers
Human Service Office Volunteers are dedicated parishioners who offer their time to meet the needs of those served by the Human Services Ministries. Their responsibilities include responding to telephone inquiries and providing information; referrals to our Ministry of Consolation; accepting donations and preparing pantry food orders; assisting with regular correspondence; supporting holiday drives and interacting with Human Services' clients.
