A beautiful Catholic tradition is to remember our beloved deceased with Masses offered for their eternal rest in God’s presence. Masses can also be offered for other intentions, for example recognizing a wedding anniversary or a birthday, or a person in need of prayer because of illness or upcoming surgery.
Announced Masses
At all our weekday and weekend Masses (with the exception of our 12 noon Mass in the Church), the Mass is offered for a “single” intention (one person, a married couple, a parent/child or a single family). Since many parishioners request Sunday Masses, multiple intentions from multiple donors may be accepted at the 12 Noon Mass with a limit of six individual intentions. Offering: $20.
Unannounced Masses
A Mass can be offered by a priest apart from our weekday and weekend Masses. These Mass intentions are “unannounced” A card is provided indicating that Mass will be celebrated. Offering: $15.
Purgatorial Society
Here at Saint Thomas we also offer the possibility of having a deceased loved one being enrolled in our Parish Purgatorial Society. Those enrolled in Parish Purgatorial Society are prayed for weekly at the 10:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday. A distinctive card is also provided for those arranging this enrollment on behalf of a deceased loved one. Offering: $20.
Bread and Wine Memorial
The Bread and Wine consumed during a designated week at either the church or the chapel may be memorialized for a designated individual, couple or family. This intention will be printed in the Sunday Bulletin. Offering: $40.
